From the standard colour chart which suits the M4 the best?

Top to Bottom:
Alpine White Non-metallic - Sakhir Orange
Mineral White Metallic - Silverstone Metallic
Black Sapphire Metallic - Mineral Grey Metallic
Yas Marina Blue Metallic - Austin Yellow Metallic

I like it in Mineral Grey (I think) - 2nd from bottom on RHS. I prefer a low key colour that is fairly timeless and I think that works.
On the other hand, if you are more extrovert then Austin Yellow must be the way to go. From e36/e46 range Dakar and Phoenix Yellow seem to stand out and have stood the test of time as distinctive. I think AY could do the same.
I know there were some Individual colours available with Tanzante Blue Metallic too which is subtle but also nice. I had the privilege of seeing Yas Marina blue metallic up close and the metallic fleck is really quite stunning int he flesh, it just doesn't photograph well for some reason.
Is this a subtle way of saying you are considering a change???
Yas Marina for me, followed by Mineral Grey
Not the worlds biggest yas marina fan, find it a little bit pastel and "cartoony". Obviously I most like the sakhir orange, its one of those colours people dont think they like but when you see it is a stunner. For me it was sakhir or tanzanite. Yellow is very nice in the metal also. The other colours dont really show off the lines IMHO, and dont highlight "da carbon" bits, should you so choose,...and you should. Its a yob car and needs a yob colour. But to be honest no matter what you go for your onto a winner, very good looking and aggressive car. If I was going to buy new and individual I would order purple silk cuz I is a chav.

Rebel....I see this car driving around and the driver always give the thumbs up, looks very nice, low enough mileage, not sure if it has HUD (probably a launch car so fully specc'ed and with the carbon fiber prop shaft) but great price (depressingly)......
Funkyseefunkydoo that wildberry is my new favourite, that with yellow carbon ceramics, non comp pack simi black wheels and the m-performance carbon kit and thats a keeper.

I quite like the look of the Silverstone Metallic. Although I’ve never seen one in real life. It would need to have enough blue in it to set it apart from standard silver.
Sakhir Orange looks great as well.

Does anyone have any predictions for what colours (individual or standard) might become particularly rare/sought after colours for the F8X in years to come? Like Alpine White and Laguna Seca Blue are for the E46 or Santorini Blue for the E92?

I like Black Sapphire and Yas Marina Blue, thoroughly dislike Sakhir Orange and Austin Yellow Metallic, and am indifferent to the rest. Tanzante Blue is lovely as well though.
Silverstone metalic is underrated, saw a convertable yesterday with a few tasty carbon bits and it looked mega. Tanzante blue is my favorite. In this age of individual colours to beat the band I dont think any one colour will have stronger resale, Austin always seems to be a harder sell but in the metal its a wonderful colour. Ken Sakhir is the colour for the most discerning owner :).
Good to see this thread get re-invigorated. I am glad I went with Yas Marine Blue, although whilst it is a great Cars & Coffee colour, you'll get away with nothing in everyday life. I agree, Silverstone blue is quite nice in the flesh, there's two within a mile of my house and a regular Sahkir Orange visitor (to his mum) just down the road a bit, he had an Austin Yelow one and I thought both were nice too.Quote:
