So the e38 has developed a gearbox fault [emoji37]

Can anyone recommend gearbox specialist in Dublin?

Got down to these with the 7, they really do know their stuff especially with this type of ‘box given they are found in x5’s/range rovers and others. They narrowed the issue down to an electronic problem so I’ve to try another gearbox control unit with matching part numbers and have a used one on its way to me. If that doesn’t work it’s possible I’m looking at a gearbox rebuild as the problem would then be the electronic internals [emoji37]....or do I put that money towards a manual conversion [emoji848][emoji2955][emoji16]
