I had a failed exhaust cam sensor tested sensor with a multimeter to confirm fault. I replaced it with a febi one which tested ok with multimeter but not in the car. Here lies my problem is it a cheap sensor or as someone suggested a loose timing chain from the tensioner .where should I go from here to find out what's going on without throwing parts and money which I don't have at it.
