Hi, I have 5 months left on my 2 year BMW extended warranty that I got when I bought my car from the dealer and I'm wondering how I might extend beyond this.
Do I have to call the warranty company (Mondial are the underwriters for the BMW Warranty) or will they automatically write out offering the extension? I'm just curious to hear if anyone has been in this position before.
I asked in the main dealers about extending the warranty on the 120d, was told that BMW would write to us before it expires and the dealers don't deal with warranty renewal
You should get a letter from the dealer notifying you that the warranty is about to expire and offering a free health check before it does but you will have to contact BMW Insured Warranty yourself add the warranty going forward it gets quite costly over 60K miles somewhere between €1500/€2000 for the M6 i'd say
