I’m getting the soft top of my E36 replaced and have read that it’s worthwhile fitting the BMW repair kit F (corner bow tension springs) while you’re in there. Does anyone have any recommendations on this? Repair kit A (column C inserts) will be fitted anyway but are items like the tension ropes worth doing as well? The roof works well, albeit a little slow in its old age.
