I was quoted 25 a corner in Kilkenny to fit my winter tyres the other day, needless to say, I went elsewhere! With regards to oponeo, delivery was quick and price was good. €480 for 4 x Nokian D4s.

If someone comes in and starts going on about wanting there own tyres fit without marking the wheel garages normally will up the price or say no. Hardly worth 15 quid to fit a tyre and end up paying 100 or more to refurb it if an accident happens

I was asked to sign a declaration that the garage it not responsible for damaging my bbs. I know the guys are 99.9% not going to mark the wheel but its true. Why would they take on 1800 euro rims for the sake of 80 quid fitment.
Because they fit tyres to brand new rims everyday I signed it and it was perfect.
Took delivery today of 2 x Bridgestone Potenza RFTs from Oponeo, manufactured week 46 2017, so about a month old. Can't argue with that
I think they just didn't want the business to be honest, they're my winter wheels so I couldn't care less if they were marked. IMO 25 a corner is too expensive unless they are going above and beyond, not many places stock Nokian so its easier getting them online.
ATB tyres, normally very good, but I think they just dont want to be fitting tyres bought elsewhere any more, fair enough.
Can anyone recommend a garage in Galway to fit tyres which were bought online?
Modern tyres up bohemore would be happy enough to fit them
Highly highly recommend Burke's tyres on the tuam road. Just after the liosban industrial estate heading in the tuam direction.
I brought them 4 freshly powder coated wheels( in white ) and asked the to fit them. I was recommended them by the powder coaters radfix. They fitted the tyres without a mark on the new white wheels.
50 euro balanced for alll 4.
