I’d have to disagree there Ken! I think fern/boston/oxford and beige/tan leather is a classic combo for a 90s BMW, particular a coupe/convertible.
I’ve always been a fan of the 8. I remember there was a longtermer in BMW Car (maybe an 840) back in the late 2000s, early 2010s but there didn’t seem to be a month that went by without something going wrong on it. It put me off them as an ownership proposition but it might have been just a rough one to start with.
I don't mind tan leather, but the tan plastics aren't great. I'm ok with certain greens - but I'd be rattle canning an oxford green or malachite green car if it even came into my possession! Its the colour choice for those who are partial to tweed caps and genital herpes.
