    E90 320D EGR Bypass

    Hello.

I've been looking into this all day and have found a decent kit, but I'm just concerned if it will throw an engine management light? I know it can be coded out but that's more hardship and expense!

    All thoughts / experiences welcome.

I no it works on e46 engines similar so shouldn't have any issues but I don't no for certain

It seems to be a bit hit & miss. I've a strong feeling the thing is quite gunked up again, so might just pull the trigger and get rid of it. Then deal with an EMLs that pop up later.

I disconnected it on my car and didn't get an eml but it did log a fault. Disconnecting the EGR can increase fuel consumption. Not by much but a bit.

You can disconnect the vacuum pipe from the EGR and quickly find out whether or not it triggers the EML.

Even if you block the pipe?

The vacuum pipe? If so yeah, still get an EML!
