    Smile 6.2 V8 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG (W204)

Sharing here as well in case anyone on here wants to go to the dark side

Offering up my excellent - and completely stock - example of the iconic M156 6.2 litre, naturally aspirated, 457 bhp V8 powered, C63 AMG.

Some of you have followed my journey searching for one in my wanted thread and know how many cars I looked at and how long it took me to find this one. Others may have seen my thread in the members section after I purchased it.

Below is the most relevant info I can think of but please feel free to ask any questions.

This car started life in May of 2008 when it was delivered to its' first owner in Guernsey and remained in his posession until November 2019 when it was purchased by a dealer in England, who sold it to a dealer in Northern Ireland in January 2020 where it sat in his showroom as an ornament (but still serviced etc) until I came along and bought it in February 2021. I registered it in Ireland 1st March 2021 at a cost of 9,850 Euro.

The car benefits from a full Mercedes-Benz service history from new with invoices from every visit present, containing detailed reports on the condition of the extensive list of items checked and showing every item that was replaced. High level overview is as follows:

    21st May 2008 - Pre Delivery Inspection.
    8th April 2009 @ 17,912 miles - Oil service.
    16th December 2009 @ 30,331 miles - Oil service, and brake fluid.
    3rd February 2011 @ 35,278 miles - Oil service, and dust filter.
20th February 2012 @ 37,084 miles - Oil service, air filter, spark plugs, dust filter and brake fluid.
4th December 2012 @ 38,004 miles - Oil service, brake pads and sensors front and rear, and brake fluid.
26th November 2013 @ 41,250 miles - Oil service, transmission service, and combination filter.
3rd February 2015 @ 44,444 miles - Oil service, air filter, and brake fluid.
31st October 2017 @51,186 miles - Oil service, air filter, spark plugs, and combination filter.
30th July 2020 @ 56,699 miles - Oil service, coolant flush, reset sunroof and new battery.
1st April 2021 @ 58,172 miles - Oil service, and new wipers. I also ordered a new service book as the first one was fully stamped at this stage.

The car was MOT'd prior to purchase on the 12th February 2021 but due to brexit it wasn't recognised upon import. I NCT'd it on the 25th April 2021 @ 59,184 miles until 28th February 2022. It flew through both tests with no advisories.

    In addition to the above:
26th April 2021 - Some PDR work was completed to remove some parking dings.
9th May 2021 - Stone chips addressed and a full detail was carried out. The car was sealed using a 6-9 month sealant.
28th August 2021 - 2 x Michelin Pilot Sport 4 fitted to the rear (MPS4 fitted all round).

Being a May 2008 car, it benefits from the 1,809 Euro tax (rather than the extortionate 2,400 on any C63 from July 2008 onwards).

The car is in excellent overall condition, comes with 2 keys, large folder containing every invoice, and all handbooks. It's never been modified in any way, and in fact the only things I can think to call out is some minor wear on the driver's bolster (as to be expected) but no rips or anything like that, and a fog light bulb recently went out which needs to be replaced.

There is currently 67,850 miles on it, and frankly it's been the most reliable car I've ever owned.

I will accept 30,000 Euro from a fellow forum member, which I believe is extremely reasonable all things considered and so would kindly ask no offers below that please.

More photos available on request, but really viewing is a must.

God be with the days when you couldn’t give away anything with an engine bigger than 2.0L in this country 😀. Fair dues for the quick sale.

Oh they sold it in under a week.

People like to buy from dealers. Warranty/finance etc

They were very decent to deal with.

I believe the local petrol station called the Gardai as they hadn’t seen him in 3 days
