Car Trackers - who uses them?

Anyone with a car tracker installed? Recommendations on any that don't have subscription fees?

Friend's land cruiser was stolen from outside his door last night without the keys and he got it back with the power of the ipad

Funny thing is the jeep had an alarm and aftermarket immobiliser.
They rolled it down the road and it disappeared (towed or lifted).

There is a lot of chinese crap out there but some of them are meant to be real good, hard to know which though.

Mate of mine has one on a Volvo S60 T5 R which has come in handy twice !!
