I clean the engines with atomic cocktail,engine degreaser plus some fairy liquid and lots of love

Right so the engine nearly dressed up and ready to jump in to the new home/body

M50 manifold is on,fuel rail brackets made up,M50 crank breather system installed(good we had one M50 lying around),also bracket for dipstick fabricated,and few other minor things tidied up

Ok boys and girls some more updates
Engine is in at last







Also brand new LUK 3 piece clutch kit fitted too


We had a bit of the task of making the lost part of exhaust manifold piping,including Lambda sensor tap.Good we had a M3 exhaust manifold to cat section flange lying around,so it made our task so much easier.






Here is like brand new M3 back box ready to go on too

Another week another project-and i think it will be a long term-er,because there is a lot of ideas what we going to do with it.

First job is BIG hybrid turbo-made from hot part of X5 and cold part of Mercedes 3.2cdi,and custom mapping.
