RE: PerfectCar garage projects(M57 hybrid turbo in e36 pg2)

Last pieces of the puzzle went in to engine bay,and engine conversion is compete. All looks tidy and OEM that's what we like here in Perfect Car
M50 manifold and full M3 exhaust gives some raspines to M52,and it definitely livelier.
I think Gerard will be pleasantly surprised after the first test drive Enjoy

Is there much in splitting the turbo housings from each other? Can those model turbos be clocked so as to change angle at which the cold air comes out or does it affect oil return?

Looking forward to following the m57 thread! Will you be using the oil filled mounts with vacuum or just normal rubber ones?

Well you cant really split them and make the desired angle, but to be honest X5 and 320cdi turbos bolt in same way to the engines,so when they mated together they are it very good shape. All we needed to do is re-root the turbo return pipe, and make a small dent in chassis leg to clear the vacuum actuator.
This engine conversion uses normal rubber engine mounts.

Ok so new update for now, turbo is in its place, bolted and connected, everything worked really good, didnt need too much modification to get it in,just had to put small dent on to the chassis led for vacuum actuator.
Also we got it mapped and now this car is shifting on the slightly damp road 3 gear wheel spins easy doable with out de-clutching.Some time it could be scare, you have to be awake all the time, because it could catch you any second.
    No it need brakes-badly

RE: PerfectCar garage projects AUDI S4 IN FOR SOME LOVING

Well today we have this lovely Audi S4 b5 avant in for some major suspension upgrades. One of the major components are top of the range KW v3 coil-over systems-it is probably one of the best systems on the market right now.
