    325 m50b25 conversion?

    Lads,

One of these has popped up.

Currently seriously considering it if I can get the dollars and it's a strong engine.

What else will I need to put this into an E36?

    It's in a 30 at the minute.

Have been told if I want the engine I can have all I need to go along with it in the price . So curious as the e30 is obviously different what would I need from it and also what would I need that would not be in the e30?

I don't want the full car due to keeping costs down

You'll need a different sump - will have an E34 one if its fitted in an E30. Exhaust manifold will have also been cut to fit the E30, so you'll probably need a new one of those too.

Thanks for the replies so far.

In an e30 m50 conversion they would use an e34 sump so you will need to source an e36 item. The exhaust may also have been modified for the conversion too...(kdevitt got there before me)

With everyone going for 6pots in their e36's now I may have to try a different game...

Hmm...getting more expensive as we go haha

I'd assume the sump and exhaust from a vanos 325 will do? the b25's are really hard to get a hold of!
