I have h+r in my e46 auctually remotes old one,s your more than welcome to have a drive to see what you think of them before you splash out for whatever you decide to go with

Thanks for all the advice, definitely given me food for thought. I think for the moment I'll look into staying OEM and getting a lowering spring like the Eibachs; don't have the money, need ( nor balls) to go full coilover

I'm going to see about doing a suspension refresh as well and getting the subframe reinforced at the same time to save labour
