I am kind of sad like that, I tend to remember nice cars and when and where I saw them. Actually thought about going to look at it too. He also sold the E36 with 19k miles many years ago that's on the forum now.

Not many E38s out there and most if them are driven by older generations who don't have any interest in bringing them to there full potential.

She'll be a very different animal by the time I'm finished with her...

well had the NCT tonight and only faled on 3 things all visual. 1. directional tire on wrong side doh!! 2. missing nut on wheel need to get hub re-threaded previous owner cross threaded all the nuts. 3. two metal clips for side skirt (removed for rust repair) need to tape over. should have NCT cert hopefully next week
