key problem

Have a weird one here I've 2 keys for my car. One only opens out and one only starts it. is it only a matter of replacing the battery or its the problem worse????

Have a similar situation with my own one is missing a transponder chip id say yours is similar ,theres no real fix for this other then a new key , the other key that starts the car the batterys probably shot and just needs replacing

But you could try reprogramming it first

The key that opens the car won't start it at first but if I start the car with the other key, turn It off and straight away and put the one that only opens back in it will start it. madness ha

Yep thats normal theres a 10 second time lapse and any key will work without a chip for 10 seconds once the coded key was in the ignition before it
