Lightbulb Different Springs Front / Rear - is it ok?

Any idea if you have standard m-tech suspension all round and fit eibach springs in the front only, could it have any negative effect on the car's handling?

Different Springs Front / Rear - is it ok?

I'm sure it'll be ok but you won't know for sure until you drive it, lots of people will slate the idea saying its unsafe but let's be honest and mod you do to your suspension and/or wheels and you are a test pilot anyway so I say go for it, You could do far worse.

RE: Different Springs Front / Rear - is it ok?

I think it should be ok, it just makes sense to me that as long as the 2 front or 2 rear are the same that it should be ok, like tyres.

But I was hoping maybe someone tried it or could confirm. I'm only considering it cause it would give the front a nice subtle drop and get rid of that irritating extra gap compared to the rear, without slamming it..

    Any mechanic's opinions on this?

Funny enough , coz i had this set already, front eibach and rear standard mtech, 6 months with no issues whatsoever, now i.ve changed rear for h&r with regulation (coilovers)v to drop it a bit for style 32.
