    Suncream removal from paintwork

Any idea how to remove sun cream residue from the paintwork of a silver car?
The owner plays golf regularly and would have suncream on the hands which has over time transferred onto the paintwork of the boot lid opening/closing, I tried to clean it earlier and it seems to be welded on.
    finger print marks etc.

You wash it, it disappears then dries and re-appears.

    thanks

Brian best way is to machine polish, hand polish will hide them but they be back once the oils from the polish have gone.

Would need a clean, clay machine, refine and seal up with wax or sealant so next time there is at least some protection to help save the paint a little

Thanks Chris, thought so, but just wanted to check.
Can you PM me a price/time needed and I can give to the owner.

I presume just the areas with the marks will need the machine polish? not the entire car.

Compound should take it off even by hand

Might do but usually just hide the marks from the oils in the polish itself
