over the past few months ive noticed cars and vans driving into petrol station and filling up with tractor diesel,they don't fill cans and put it into the car at home but openly stand at the pump filling their tanks,am I wrong thinking this will damage the engines?
have seen a lad doing it a lot with 01 Vectra 2.0 diesel and another with audi a4,this is at my local filling station,just curious as its so cheap.
Nope, "green" (agri) diesel is the exact same as your normal diesel. It's just coloured green for tax purposes I.e only allowed in agri vehicles.
It's the washed diesel where they remove the dye out of the fuel which is the dodgy one!

If bought from a reputable garage then yes it's all horse shit! Problem is a lot of it is bought in bulk for the farms Massey and then stored in a rusty old tank that's never cleaned so that's where it can lead to trouble if you get me!

I suppose I'd run my car on dirty nappies if I could so honestly I cant blame people.
They are forever dipping on the M11 and it's nearly a fortnightly occurrence at this stage. I have also witnessed recently what James has mentioned.
