The touchpad on my laptop isn't letting you scroll up or down anymore? any ideas what the problem is? it works grand for moving the pointer and clicking things just cant scroll up and down or left and right!! Its really irritating!! Its a Toshiba Satellite.

If it is a laptop you might have just hit the button to disable touch-pad

Is the driver the latest one from the touchpad manufacturer? (Not from toshiba)

Also some of the touch pads you have to configure them to do specific actions, for example two finger scrolling etc. The scroll function maybe just be switch off in the the settings. Best guess I can give ya

Did you upgrade to the latest version of windows by any chance?

A mate of mine had similar issues going up to the latest version of windows 8 and it changed some of his drivers.
