    VRT Question

Dont know if anyone has any experience with this but i paid the VRT on the S2000 on saturday morning and got my irish reg plates.

The lady in the VRT centre said it would be up on the irish tax system within 24hrs and then i would need to pay the road tax and book an nct.

Now ive been trying to log into the tax system for the last two days but it aint working (reg and last six digits of the VIN).

Anyone ever been in this situation before by any chance? I wonder is it 24 business hours?

    Any input appreciated.

    Many Thanks,

    Dillon

Do you know how nct works so michael? can i book it with my RF100 or do i need to wait for the reg cert?

    VRT Question

I tell ya this game is a viscious circle....so.....

I've paid the vrt and it is now on the tax system, it's also on the nct system but no slot available until 16th January.

Now they won't let me insure it until it has an nct cert, I can't drive it to the nct without insurance, and they won't let me tax it without an insurance policy.

How the hell am I finding all this so god damn difficult!

So the only way around it I can see is getting someone with open insurance to drive it to the test, and then insure it and tax it after.

But how do people insure imports that don't have an nct?

Could you get someone with open drive to drive it to the NCT?
