    E36 Alternator325/328/M3 (EVO)

Wanted E36 325/328/M3(evo) alternator and if anyone could 100% confirm these are swappable no problem that'd be great as I want to put it in the is.
If a part number could be pmed that would be great too. I already run a higher amp battery so all good there just need the higher amp alternator.

Why don't you check part numbers on bmwfans or realoem?

The ampage varies so different part numbers afaik it's more the bolt on aspect I'm interested in. As far as I know they are the same shape in all 36ers so in theory a m3 Evo 115amp alternator should bolt onto a 318is where the alternator would be 70amp. The Us ones are 140amp I'm not sure why. I would prefer a euro spec one as I'd have a battery rated to cope without the increase in ampage. I know 1 other personally that done this but he is Us based so I think they would be different? All very confusing.
