    Don't know that. If you could live without the carpet for a few days take it out and shampoo + powerwash it, like new afterwards!

    Tesco woodies b&q and co-op/?homes do them do you should be able to find one handy, I was going to rent one before Xmas but stumped up for one through Amazon

    I was thinking of doing that but to be honest we both know the right way involves dash out and all that. As you know she's a daily so I can't afford the time and also the weather is a killer! Or cut it under the heater core but I'd be a bit scared I'd make a sack of that!

    Take it down to the car wash, hit it with engine degreaser, then wash with soap, then rinse. I pull all of my carpet out and did this and it came out great.
