    Suade wrapped trim

Has anyone ever done this ?

I was doing a bit of googling and came across this on a e90 and really like the look of it.
    Something a bit different.

Anyone that knows me knows I like to have a go and stuff myself and this seems to be right up my street.

Its 3m self adhesive and sold in lengths starting at 500mm x450mm for €20 and is available in many colours but I'd go for black or grey.

I'm going to be getting the wheel retrimmed as it was one of my favourite thing I did to the e39 so might it it trimmed it suade/alcantara to match too.

I think for the price it's worth a try.

Might try the local fabric place and see what they have.

I found it on an e91 site then googled it, "self adhesive suade"

There is a place selling it in Korea but I'd prefer to buy it locally if possible so I can see and feel it first.

    RE: Suade wrapped trim

Going to check hickeys or home focus tomorrow and see what's available.

I have looked up some YouTube videos of people using standard faux suade and using fabric spray glue, seems to do the job too, maybe better.

I'm going to try an old bit of trim I have first though just to make sure that it's removable without ruining the original finish.
