which E39 Steering wheel to go for

Been thinking of changeing the steering wheel in my E39 Touring as the one i have is the same size as one used to steer a WW2 aircraft carrier :tounge:

so which do ye think would look better on this interior






so these are the options

or
E46/E39 M-Sport

They both feel great in the hand and are nice wheels with even thickness but id choose no. 2 all day long

ya they are both nice to feel alright , but the second pic is a real promo shot compared to the first one , which i thought was biasing my opinion ?

no 2 aswell Davy, abit more modern for the e39 also the airbags one the first are a PITA to keep right/fresh.

yep the picture really sells it but I swapped from the older to the newer as its always been one of my favourite wheels iv no regrets I like it a lot

Hi, just bear in mind that the first one might be a single stage airbag model, make sure you choose the right dual stage airbag model for your car. Changed in 1999.

E39 sport facelift version (no. 2)all day long for me too.

Is it just me, I reckon the first one. The second seems too small, almost lost in the big 5s cockpit. I prefer the first as it seems more at home there.
