What about a bottle jack for the car and a lightweight trolley jack for at home

You can get some trolley jacks that come with a hard case for storing in the boot

If it fits in the storage hole i might get one.

Tie it down with bungy cord?
Id prefer not to have it visable in the boot, OCD

I want to get a trolley jack for at home anyway but i doubt a bottle jack will fit under it especially after its lowered.

Just had a quick glance at amazon just to give you an idea, I'm sure if you search about there should be one for lowered vehicles

    Thanks.

I'll be happy with either, which ever you thing is better. The car should be in with him next week getting the springs and swirl flaps done anyway.
I'll say it to him before then and get him to collect it.

A guy was selling that kit on E90 post the other day. I just have a jack in the side tray and a space saver in the boot tied down with the BMW cargo net.
