    Car losing time

I was away the last couple of weeks and noticed today that the onboard clock is slow by about 30 mins. I'm assuming the lack of driving is responsible but 30m seems like a lot. Battery issue? I'm pretty certain the battery is factory original. Is it time to get it replaced?

Are you noticing any other issues like intermittant random lights flickering on the speedo display? Maybe check the battery is charging alright, might have a cell on the way out.

Nothing like that. I checked for faults and there's a bunch of CAN LOW faults on various modules. I'm guessing there's either a faulty module on the bus or it's the battery.

Properly looking over the error codes now:
    A559
    E104
    A4EA
    A4F2
    D904
    A0C1
    C904
    D944
    D947
    E584

Most are CAN Bus related but A559 (power loss to instrument cluster) and A0C1 (Short circuit or signal interruption) would suggest a battery issue.

Drive your car otherwise if you are lucky to have a garage use a small power supply if it stays for weeks parked up.
Or lend me the car for a few weeks I will get the battery charged up free of charge :-)
