Best job if its through the wishbone is cut the link of the chain that the lock is on and throw the off cut and the damaged link away. He's not going to have counted the links on the chain and he cant prove you didn't open the lock without proof. Consaw works best.

I once cut chain and take clamp with me and that's it
Before I do that I go to Garda and ask what's can happen Whan I do that thay answer me nothing

Defiantly next time I get clamped I'll try this ahah
