    Clampers...

In FAS today and one of the lads got clamped in the college even though he had a parking pass. Turns out he bought the car yesterday and forgot to change his reg over on the ticket

So he rang the company, had the reg put on the parking pass and they sent the chap in to take it off. He arrived and expected to be paid at which point he was told "take it off or I will" to which the clamper laid down the challenge.

    1: Deflate tire
    2: Remove wheel nuts
3: Squeeze deflated wheel/tire out of clamp
4: Look at the pissed off face of the clamper who just arrived back
    5: Laugh
    6: Drop bottom ball joint
7: Hand clamper back his clamp
    8: Re-inflate tire
    9: Replace re-inflated wheel/tire
    10: Smuggly walk away

    Time taken: 20minutes
    To have clamp removed: €90
    Face on the clamper: Priceless

    Nice one!

Do they have difficulty putting them on lowered cars does anyone know. Had heard that they cannot actually touch the car they are clamping?

This one was between the drive shaft and wishbone, but some are clever enough and put the chain through the wishbone itself
