New windscreen please quarry lorry threw a rock at my car 4weeks ago and hit the black part of the window where the window wiper is.... Went to wash my car tonight and i had the wipers up.... The hose got caught in the wiper and slammed down on the window resulting in a crack the lenght of the windscreen iv a wedding in sligo on saturday and iv to drive it! Could it smash? You cant feel it from the inside and i only just renewed my insurance thinking id cover but appears i dont..... how hard is it going to hurt my pocket and will it hold up until next week?

The windscreen is laminated, so highly unlikely that it will smash.

Whatever you do, absolutely do not add windscreen cover to your policy and claim in ten days, don't do that, it's wrong.

They wouldnt do that anyway, i rang ages ago when i realised i didnt have it and they said iv to wait until next year when i renew it
