E36 Exhaust 316 same as 318?

Hi,

Quick question, Just removed a Cat-Back exhaust from a 316i Coupe, Will it also fit straight onto 318i and 318is (M42+M44) ?

Presume it'll only fit a Coupe also?

Not sure about 318 but the pipe diameter on the 318is is quite a bit larger than the 316i. If that info is any use ?

316i and 318i are same 318is has 2 silencers and pipe is wider. Saloon/coupe are same.
