Just putting this up as a recommendation and as an FYI for anyone looking to get parts cleaned up. Had a few bits done by Michael at vapourblast.ie
Vapour blasting is done at very low pressure and doesn't cause damage to the metal surface like other media blasting can do. Results speak for themselves.
Price was very reasonable and a quick turnaround too. Just to be clear - these haven't been painted.

He's in Drogheda, but they were collected and delivered to my door. Parts can be dropped into any DPD depot and they'll deliver to him too.
Excellent and only down the road from me too. Dad has always used soda blasting to clean parts but as you said it can be a bit harsh on some metals.
By vapour I assume you mean steam? Great finish! Does he price per job or by amount of parts?

No it's not steam, a combo of Co2 and glass afaik
