    Arrow E34 M5 S38B38 X20 pinout / wiring diagram?

    Trying to help someone out but failing miserably...

    Anybody have the pinout from a reliable source? I've looked at all the official BMW Electrical Troubleshooting Manuals online with over 500 pages each and they have just about every pinout except for the x20... Really frustrating... Any ideas?

    I'd imagine the x20 will be the same as any other e34.

    I plugged my s50b30 x20 straight into one where the m43 or whatever the 318 single cam engine is and it started and everything worked. I think stuff like oil ten to clocks might be different.

    Are you sure Dave? Would there not be a difference between 4 / 6 / 8 pots and M cars? Is there any risk of damage to anything if it's not right?

    Well I put the 6 in where the 4 used to be and it started with no extra drama.
