nct booking

my nct is out at the end of this month,i had booked it to be done Monday next week but had to cancel as wont be around,just was on the nct site and earliest test I can get is 12th of june.I booked that but am curious if the friendly garda stops me and its out of date will a print out of my booking be ok.
its very bad that that's the earliest.

Just ring them and you'll get a date within 2 weeks, Online is a joke.

Just log in every morning first thing and you'll get something soon

Failing the above not working most Garda will be fine with you have proof of booked test. Calling every morning also for cancellation slot works.

Have the same delays in limerick, fathers car had 4 weeks of nct left to run and the nearest date was 7+ weeks away, rang and explained when it due and asked for a cancellation slot before the 4 weeks ran out, I asked about the 4 week+ = free test and they said that is what happens. Got a slot after 3 weeks.

I'm guessing they must note the 4 week mark on every booking and aim to get you in before that

I went to book a test in fonthill, and wasn't even given a date.....asked why and your one I was talking to got snotty and ignorant and basically hung up on me, I went on the website and the first date was over 3 months away.... So basically I assumed she knew that and didn't want to tell me because she knew it would have been free for me. She put me on the cancellation list, but I went and booked online in greenhills....that date was only a 2 week wait!
