Nct retest, full test or only failed items?

I had a car I bought in for a test didn't look at it before hand. Now my retest is quite soon and I've just had a look under the car to fix the faults and have seen a couple of things the NCT have missed. Will the car fail on new faults that they find?

It's not that I don't want to fix the stuff but I've bought parts from what was needed on the fail sheet and am a bit last minute fitting them. I'm annoyed because the car was trailered to and from the centre and hasn't been driven other than that so it has to be that they have missed the faulty items..

Do I have any standing for a refund on the first test or a free retest?

The NCT will only check the items you failed on in the Retest

if retest is done until mentioned date ,in 28days ,it CANT FAIL on things which they have missed first time .if its full retest after 28 days,means new full check
