Tyre pressures car manufacturer vs tyre maker ?

Question what pressure do you go by do you use the cars official tyre pressures from the door jam or do you use the tyre manufacturers recommendations

Reason I ask is bmw recommend to use 2.2 bar front 2.6 bar rear on the 18" setup

But having looked at vredestein and choosing my car and tyre they recommend 3.0 bar front 2.8 bar rear

Odd as rear pressures are usually higher on staggered wheel bmw setups

Weird, it's saying that mine should be 3.2 bar front and 3.1 bar rear.

That's 46 PSI front and 45 PSI rear...isn't that very very high?

Man I wouldn't fancy that at all, seems crazy high. I personally don't go over 36 and don't find that I'm missing anything

Normally pressures that high would only be recommend on the door jam label if the car was fully loaded ie. 4 adults and full boot

36 is about what I run on the rear 2.5/2.6 bar

Sounds low shane check the label pressures inside the driver door should be listed for the 19" wheel be the same or similar as csl's
