What's the tax like on them under the new system then? 2008 onwards I mean.
I think the newer more efficient version of the engine became available in late 08 early 09 I think so from that point the tax is cheaper! Especially for the 335d. But can't bring myself to get a diesel especially after driving the missus' yolk.

Agree with one of the earlier posts not really a car for thrashing but seriously quick all the same. Rare in manual I think. I get about 26mpg from mine. It has previously had both turbos replaced. I think fuel pumps are also a common problem. Mine comes with 18months remaining on a BMW premium selection warranty so nothing to worry about with it!
