Dealer Courtesy Car - stone cracked the windscreen

So car had rough idle this week, I thought it was coils again but dealer diagnostics said injectors.

So injectors are getting done and I have a courtesy car which I was driving tonight and a car passing by flicked up a stone and low and behold cracked the drivers side windscreen.

So my own insurance was transferred to the car, anyone know the process in such a case? Do I just call and claim for a replacement screen or?

Anyone been through something similar. Dealer was closed so could not speak with them.

Dealerships usually get x amount of free replacement windows on their insurance policies per year. Be upfront and tell them what happened and they might let it slide. If not, hace you ncb protected windscreen cover on your own policy?

I have free windscreen replacement however I only had my own replaced in October. A 2nd glass claim within the same policy year will be logged as a claim against the policy holder.

Heading over to them now so all will be revealed soon.

Believe it or not I am still waiting for a decision on what's happening. I was on to them and they are to get back to me.
