    RE: Any Mountain Bikers/Cyclists?

Bought a road bike over the summer and I really enjoy it. Have the cleated shoes for it and they give a massive performance advantage and I really feel connected. To the bike. I never realised how fast road bikes were so I got a shock when I saw top speeds around 75kmh!!!:surprised:

It's a cinelli xperience with a Campagnolo Veloce 20 speed group set. Never had shimano but I'd be slow to change from campag after using it!

New chain yesterday and it's as smooth as silk so I can't wait to bring it for a long run!

    And so it begins!

I know it's probably pointless when the bike is new, but when the time comes, I really can't rate Hope hubs enough, they're fecking great! Wheels just spin endlessly. Opinions vary on the noise they make but I like it it's a gentle "get out of my way" when on a trail

Yeah that's one thing about the Kula, rolls very nicely.

If I do go with a wheel rebuild I've already got Mavic rims there, so a good start.

Looking forward to get out on the trails with the new pedals, I have M520 pedals but these should
make it easier to locate the pedal when getting the foot back in

What's that like for weight? That's what put me off the earlier Giant full suspension bikes, even my Talon was heavy compared to other similar priced hardtails

Weight wise it's very easy to live with there is a lovely balance to it. Took me a while to get used to the 29" wheels!

    Any Mountain Bikers/Cyclists?

I got out on the road bike earlier for the first time in a few weeks, 17K nearly killed me, have the turbo trainer out in the sitting room to get a few K's in during the week, roads are way too dark and dangerous to be out cycling in the evenings down my way
