As ever, Detailing Shed aims to offer you the best products available to keep your car in tip top shape. Pleased to announce that we have added yet another supplier and their full range of products – there isn’t many, and if you continue reading, you’ll understand why!!

    Presenting Dr. Leather!!

    Background of Dr. Leather….
Darryl Cassingham is the CEO of Dr Leather Ltd. He is a veteran of 20 years experience in the leather industry with leading tanneries such as Pittards in England and Packer Leather in Australia. He was also the first to gain the MBA in Leather Management, with Distinction, from University College Northampton and the British School of Leather Technology. He is also a Fellow of the Society of Leather Technologists & Chemists, and a Licentiate of the City & Guilds.

    Information on Leather…
Years ago leather needed to be cleaned and conditioned. Modern leathers are much different due to the way they are manufactured and the additives they get during the process.
If you want to know more – read this and the .pdf file that is linked on that link

    Dr. Leather products
There are 3 products – Cleaning Wipes, Cleaning Liquid and Dye Block

Leather Cleaning Wipes – available in either 40 or 150 quantity tubs
Leather Liquid Cleaner – available in either 500ml or 1l
Dye Block – 250ml – enough to coat a 5/7 seater vehicle at least twice

    Wipes -vs- Liquid
Essentially the wipes and liquid cleaner are the same product. They both offer…..
Gentle cleaning of the all-important coating of the leather
Restore the original feel and look to the leather
Have unique chemistry that recreates the new leather aroma
An aqueous based pH neutral formulation, meaning top-coat friendly
    A Bio-degradable and non-toxic formulation
Silicone-free to ensure no slippery, shiny surfaces
Created by Leather Technologists for modern leathers

The wipes are a pre-wetted synthetic microfibre cloth that you use and dispose of once used, the liquid is a spray that you spritz onto the seat, work in with either a soft bristle brush or microfibre cloth and wipe clean with a microfibre cloth.
The wipes are a handy product to keep the leather in tip top condition – for a regular, easy clean.
The spray on liquid would be better for an intense “deep clean” to get them perfect and follow up regularly with the wipes.

Dye Block significantly reduces, and virtually eliminates, the dye transfer from jeans, etc, without affecting the look, gloss or touch of the leather.

To celebrate the addition of Dr. Leather to our site; we’re offering 10% their products, using the Voucher Code; DRLEAHTER - valid until mid-night Sunday!
Check out these and other new products!

    Cheers,
    Dave

Do you mean the dye block John? Be helpful on any lighter coloured leathers.
