    e36 electical issues?

few issues im having with the 318is at the moment. need abit advice?

Speedometer and mpg clock are flicking up and down randomly. i held in the clock button with ignition in first position and they work fine. Thinking it would be the speed sensor in the diff or a bad connection there 2? anyone experience this before?

sometimes when i go from dims to full beams i will loose both dim and full lights? any one any idea what this could be? faulty relay?
    sound....

Battery and alternator seem fine. headlight turn off altogether not reduce light output. Thats why i think it would be more a relay or poor ground etc.

@Claudio Will try the speed sensor this weekend. Thanks.

    e36 electical issues?

Sounds like a bad earth somewhere under the clocks in the drivers footwell.

As said above it sounds like an earth cable in the engine bay, may not be tightened down or may be split and deteriorated
