At that money it's cheap enough to have some fun no I'm really a 36 man more so but it's quite cheap and looks fairly together. Nice ta waft around at times, this passat has calmed me an awful lot

Its definitely worth that, even in parts but you could be buying bother for NCT purposes.

Not to sluggish would be grand for cruising round in its 200kg heavier then your Is but has an extra 2 cylinders and 30bhp which make up for it the diff gearing is different and more laid back for motorway etc

Mpg wise your probably looking at 26-28 city 35-37 motorway

There no drift slag though but should shit all over the passat quality handling and driving wise iv had both theres no comparison for similar age cars

Be warned though there very easy to be hooked on obviously a bad one will break your heart just like any other car mods are savage expensive if you want slippy diffs and stuff you wouldn't have much change from a 1k
