    battery disconnect

I am away for a few weeks and car won't be driven, should I disconnect battery or leave it connected. If it matters it's a e39 520.

    battery disconnect

For what it's worth I didn't drive my car for a month and the battery was fine. I'm back driving it now and there it's no problems.

Yea I got caught out with that before when I last disconnected the battery and slammed the boot shut.it just shows how too much technology, means you have to resort to Google on how to open your boot with a key of all things

Happened to me too, but I had the key in my pocket. Could not open the trunk after I disconnected the battery. Stupid recent e92 don't have a lock no more...
Had to jump the car to be able to open the trunk again.
