    E46 m3 exhaust

Hi all away for the past two weeks and when I came home I noticed a slight rattle in the rear of the car. Got it up on a ramp today and the two rear exhaust clamps are corroded, problem is you cannot buy the inside clamp so I have to replace the exhaust from the cats back and a new box even though there is nothing wrong with it!! Expensive exercise too!! Anyone know a way around this? Get a clamp manufactured etc? Potential bill of €1700 the clamp I'm referring to goes right beside part 18 in the diagram? Any help appreciated

What about going to an exhaust fabricators such as Souhans & ask them to make something for you. I'm sure they've seen it all before!

I think I had the same problem. Is it the flanges as shown in the attached?

From memory I just bought 2 of part 18 and got it welded in situ. I think! (It was a while ago)

Was thinking that myself getting quoted for a new box and mid section because of a flange was dumbfounding!!! But to be fair I researched all last night from using Peugeot clamps to titanium custom made brackets!!
