I dont really hold much love for either.

But I'd buy an E30 before I'd buy an E46 but I wouldnt be in a hurry to buy an E30 AT ALL.

This a toughy for me love em both two fantastic cars

The e30 evo is one of the best looking cars ever made and the e46 looks just as good the e46 is the perfect road/track car that can be enjoyed all year round

On looks its the E30, you just can't beat the muscular arches and strong look plus it's Motorsport heritage. I looked at several E30 M3's over the years and always dreamed of a red E30 M3. Made an offer on one and came close to buying it. Also was offered a sport Evo from a collection which I should have bought as an investment.

Having driven both give me the E46 M3 any day of the week. Six cylinder engine does it for me.

The E30 M3 cabrio was a wonderful car too but its the lack of six cylinder that has always made them feel like they are lacking something for me.

Didn't expect that Andy, I thought you be more of the old school (not slagging your age just your car history )
