Diff seal

Would you change the seal on the back plate or should I leave it alone I bought the new sealer for it already but the diff is bone dry il still change the other 3 seals and plugs

Just not sure wheter to disturb the seal on the back plate as its well sealed any input ?

if you have the diff on the bench, than yea, change it, if youdoing the job under the car, then no, dont touch it

As said if it ain't broke and plus removing the diff in the future to replace the seal isn't a big deal.
