Commercial tyres would be a much heavier duty higher load tyre. Stiffer side walls I think.

There should also be a C marking for commercial tyres...having non commercial tyres on a van is a DOE fail.

I have heard of a guy who bought new tyres for his transit and failed the doe as they weren't the right load weight but wondered if there was much difference as ive practically new tyres but for a car and are same size as the transit I bought.195/70/15..would hate to pay for new tyres only to fail the doe.thanks for the replys lads,i will call to my tyre place and see what they have.
