e36 short shift kit and bushings...

Havent been meaning to do this for a while now and looking for some advice on other peoples set ups.

Is the best short shift kit to go for the one from the z3? and if so, which one? is it the z3m itself?

    http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=CK92&mospid=48084&btnr=25_0013& hg=25&fg=05

Also looking to refresh the gear changes as the bushings are well worn now at 128k so what ones are the best to change?

    http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=BE72&mospid=47426&btnr=25_0013& hg=25&fg=05

    Thanks in advance

Chris i wont give you my part numbers in case they differ from yours but from looking at your realoem link i changed the equivalent partnumbers of
    7
    4
    2
    12
    order one of each

especially number 4 you will be surprised how much play there is in that bushing after 128k miles

and order a few of 10 and 11 these cir-clips and washers which you will need

all in should work out between 30-40 euro for all and well worth it

i used an Ac Schitzer short shift on mine but i were to buy another i would go for z3 or UUC one
    hope that helps

any other questions or info just text me or pm me
