E36 318is ABS ASC Pump and further info....

Looking for the below abs pump you can read the number off it (I hope) do I have to get this exact one? There is no relay in the fuse box like i see on other BMW's whats that about? Can collect Dublin/Galway

Same as early E46s too Richard and yes doesn't have external relays in the fuse box, there built into the unit.

I see some listed on ebay all right loads of different part numbers on em do i have to get the exact number match or just one that looks like this one? I guess then its just a swap of the piece thats screwed on?

If its any use to you my old one is in the bin up in the shed your more then welcome to it to see can it be fixed??? I can take the part number from it also when im up there next

Swap the connections over and bleed the brakes is the job, its messy enough with brake fluid.

Abs light on for the last 3 1/2 years pump showing error when codes are read. I usually cowboy it for the NCT but want to fix it this year

Used to have dsc and abs light now I just have dsc..... Grrrr wtf if it was an abs sensor wouldn't I get both? Can someone read my car in Dublin this week pref foc? Can sort whoever it is a favour again.
