So the sump nut was put on 8000 miles ago when I changed the oil and I must have torqued a bit too much. I've only gone and rung the thing with the H6 when trying to remove it for the next oil change. It's a completely round nut with a now completely round hole in it and it didn't budge an inch.

Any ideas on how hard it might be to get it out or who'd do it for me for a few bob (preferable). I've got the filter and oil and I'm picking up a new screw, I'm just looking for the labour
Hope you don't need to replace the sump.
I would try beating a slightly undersized twelve sided socket onto it.
Would you have enough purchase to grip it with a small plumbers wrench?

This happened me before and I drilled it out with the flat head bit attachment of an electric screwdriver. If it's just rounded use a vice grip to grab on as Gat said. They are usually hollow do don't friek out yet just be careful it will come out

I'm thinking we all might have different sump nuts. The nut is not a standard one that I've rung with a spanner or a socket, it's completely circular with a H6 in the middle. See below for a picture from some other car:
So I've gone and rung the H6 hole in the middle. I'm not sure a vice grips is going to help me out here.
The best way to get that out is to drill it and cut an m8 counter clockwise thread, shove a bolt in it and it'll come out
You could also try to beat a slightly oversized torx bit into it.
